Set Up Your Website Homepage

A homepage is the first thing visitors see when they land on your website. WordPress allows you to set a static homepage instead of displaying recent blog posts by default. You can create a homepage in two ways:

Setup a Homepage using Settings

By default, WordPress shows the latest blog posts as the homepage. To set a custom page as your homepage:

• Navigate to Settings > Reading from the sidebar.
• Under Your Homepage Displays, select the Static Page option.
• Choose the page you want as the homepage from the drop-down list.
• Click Save Changes to apply the new homepage setting.

Setup a Homepage using Customizer

• Go to Appearance > Customize.
• Click on Homepage Settings.
• Select Static Page and choose your desired homepage.
• Once you are done with the customization, click Publish to save the changes.
